POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a skilled and strategic Regional Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee multi-site maintenance operations across our regional facilities. This leadership role combines technical expertise, operational management, and team development to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant facility and equipment operations. You’ll manage budgets, drive preventative maintenance programs, lead multi‑site teams, and support continuous operational improvement.
What You’ll Do:- Lead regional maintenance teams and provide guidance for site managers and technicians
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Manage budgets, control operational costs, and optimize maintenance efficiency
- Implement and monitor CMMS or maintenance management software for tracking work orders, inspections, and preventive programs
- Coordinate and inspect projects, vendor work, and capital improvements across facilities
- Provide technical expertise in industrial systems, building automation, and facility operations
- Develop and mentor staff to build strong, capable maintenance teams
- Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime
- Track and report key performance metrics, recommending process improvements as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of business, maintenance, or facilities management experience
- Minimum 2 years in a regional or multi‑site leadership role
- Proven success in B2B operations and revenue growth
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial or facility systems
- Experience managing budgets and controlling operational costs
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS or similar maintenance software - Valid driver’s license with ability to travel regionally
Qualifications:
- Certifications in facilities management, project management, or maintenance fields (CFM, PMP, HVAC, etc.)
- Experience managing maintenance in manufacturing, healthcare, retail, or industrial settings
- Knowledge of energy efficiency initiatives and sustainable practices
- Experience negotiating and managing vendor contracts
- Familiarity with building automation systems, PLCs, and other industrial control systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on‑call as required
- Strong problem‑solving skills with quick decision‑making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across locations while maintaining operational efficiency
- Willingness to stay current on emerging maintenance technologies and industry best practices
