Shift: Monday-Friday 8 am – 5 pm; hours may vary. Requires evening/weekend for events and travel.
Job Summary:
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment's Department of Horticulture's James B Beam Institute for Kentucky Spirits seeks an Assistant Director. The Assistant Director will provide operational priority-setting, strategic planning support and implementation, and decision-making of the day-to-day operations of the James B Beam Institute for Kentucky Spirits (JBBI). Operations include, oversee JBBI accounts and budget; ensure compliance for selling products, to include taxes and license;
develop and administer Institute policies and procedures. Provide leadership and coordination for internal and external communications. Supervise JBBI marketing and PR activities. Event planning, to include annual conference, hosting donor and student events. Other duties.
