Job Description
The CNC Router Operator must have a minimum of 3 or more years of experience in a router machine setup, programming, and operation. A strong mechanical aptitude, great organizational skills, and proficiency reading blueprints are essential for this position. The items to be machined consist of a variety of aluminum, polycarbonate, and high‑pressure laminate. This position will report directly to the Shop Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities – CNC Router Operator
- Interpret drawings to determine dimensional criteria, tolerances, and geometric dimensioning
- Perform set‑ups and tool pathing for router operation
- CNC machining of parts on Multi Cam Router
- Identify the necessary tooling and equipment to perform assigned operation
- Maintain tooling and perform preventative maintenance for the machine as needed
- Operate a tow motor and overhead crane as needed
- Assist in maintaining the highest quality of product provided by Industrial Profile Systems
- Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed
Desired Skills & Experience – CNC Router Operator
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of CNC router machining experience required
- Knowledge and/or experience with Enroute routing software
- Advanced ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Proficiency in basic math for measurement and calculations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with a sense of urgency
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Well organized with an aptitude for details and precision machining
- Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Able to stand or walk for the majority of the day and lift 40 lbs as needed and up to 75 lbs with assistance
- Able to regularly apply physical mobility (stretching, lifting, bending, twisting, etc.) to perform all assembly‑related assignments
