Job Details Responsibilities
  • Production & Operations
    • Lead day‑to‑day manufacturing operations, including molding, curing, finishing, and material flow.
    • Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.
    • Monitor production performance, downtime, scrap, and labor efficiency.
    • Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Shipping, and Maintenance to maximize production output.
    • Ensure equipment and labor resources are utilized efficiently.
  • Leadership
    • Supervise, coach, and develop production employees and Mold Technicians.
    • Establish performance expectations and promote accountability.
    • Recruit, train, mentor, and retain top manufacturing talent.
    • Foster a positive culture centered on teamwork, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce waste.
    • Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives and implement standard work.
    • Analyze production metrics and implement corrective actions.
    • Partner with Engineering to improve tooling, molds, and manufacturing processes.
  • Quality
    • Ensure products consistently meet quality standards.
    • Work closely with Quality to resolve defects and implement corrective actions.
    • Maintain accurate production reporting and documentation.
  • Safety
    • Champion a strong safety culture throughout the facility.
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
    • Promote safe handling of equipment, molds, and production materials.
  • Equipment
    • Oversee proper operation of manufacturing equipment and tooling.
    • Coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
    • Support equipment upgrades and capital improvement projects.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
  • Experience leading production teams in a hands‑on manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of production scheduling and manufacturing operations
  • Proven leadership experience driving productivity and employee engagement
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with molding, polyurethane, polymers, or similar manufacturing processes
  • Experience managing Mold Technicians or tooling‑intensive operations
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Experience in industrial, batch, or process manufacturing
