The Role
You will operate state-of-the‑art plastic extrusion equipment to produce high-quality specialty films. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in our comprehensive training program while contributing to sustainable packaging solutions that make a real difference.
Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique rotating 3-4 day schedule
- A – Day Shift:7:00am - 7:00pm (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and alternating Saturdays)
- B – Night Shift:7:00pm - 7:00am (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and alternating Saturdays)
- D – Night Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and alternating Saturdays)
What You’ll Do
- Keep equipment running correctly and efficiently with minimal scrap
- Perform required quality checks and maintain product quality.
- Adhere with all BRCGS Standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintaining 5S standard in responsible area.
- Support Daily Operator Responsibilities.
- Keep responsible line clear of old supplies
- Responsible for keeping the line/area clean.
- Assist co‑workers when the assigned line is down.
- Professionalism required when talking to co‑workers
- Responsible for operating the Wicketers.
- Work safely and comply with all PPE requirements
- Must follow and understand all packaging specifications.
- Must be able to perform roll changes.
- Communicate to leads.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Document and keep track of data.
- Communicate to the material handlers when in need of materials
- Following all policies and procedures
What You’ll Bring
Essential
Qualifications:
- Ability to work 12‑hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
- Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screening
- Wages ranging from $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
, dependent on experience. - Additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential.
