job title: snt-tc-1a level ii ndt certifications and documented hours required in the following methods: visual testing, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant. Recommended to have knowledge in surface casting defects and radiographic film interpretations. Inspections performed will be in accordance with navsea techpub t9074-as-gib-010/271 with mil-std-2035a acceptance criteria

responsibilities/duties- will apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
- organize and report test results
- perform specialized inspections
- perform other job-related tasks as assigned
must be a us citizen with no dual citizenship.
must pass a background check and drug test.
skillshigh school diploma or equivalent
- snt-tc-ia level ii visual testing, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant
- shop math and print reading skills required
- ability to distinguish color to meet specific inspection criteria
- ability to use basic computer functions for data entry, i.e., word, excel, outlook
- ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team with positive attitude
- potentially travel for work for additional training as needed
- work overtime as requested
- must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated
- must be dependable
- mechanical aptitude is a plus
- must have exceptional attention to detail
- ability to perform visual and liquid penetrant inspections on castings
- review and interpret radiographic film
