Summary/Objective:

The Production Scheduler will be responsible for the management of production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of customer orders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Analyze sales order releases with respect to the capacity planning and material requirements.
  • Complete shipping information and delivery date input.
  • Order floor stock with shelf-life material for production.
  • Interface with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.
  • Working Conditions:
  • Primarily working indoors, office environment.
  • May sit for several hours at a time.
  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
  • Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.
  • Qualifications:

    List all education & experience required for the role. Include years of experience with specific requirements.

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED but need to have the ability to read and type.
  • Computer proficiency in computer programs like Excel spreadsheets and Word documents.
  • A sense of urgency and ownership is required.

  • Supervisory Responsibility:

    This role does not have any supervisor responsibility upon hire.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    This is a full-time salary position, and hours of work and days are decided by production and the Plant Manager

    Travel:

    There is minimal to no travel with this position.

    Preferred

    Education and Experience:
  • Associates Degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of AX and or Navision is helpful but not required.
  • Work Authorization/Security Clearance

    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
