Production Operator I – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Openings: 2 Job Type: Contract / Contingent Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing – Nasal Spray Drug Products

Available Shifts

1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM Every other Friday required

2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM Every other Friday required

Job Overview

We are seeking dependable Production Operators / Manufacturing Technicians to support the manufacturing of nasal spray drug products. This is a hands-on production role working in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Training will be provided, and employees will work under direct supervision while learning manufacturing procedures, equipment, and GMP requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Clean, sanitize, and prepare manufacturing equipment and production areas.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Records.
  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment according to established procedures.
  • Complete required GMP production documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S standards.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Communicate issues or concerns to the supervisor.
  • Complete additional production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Manufacturing, production, pharmaceutical, medical device, or similar experience is preferred.
  • Ability to follow detailed written instructions and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing production needs.
  • Comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to regularly use hands to handle materials and supplies.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Comfortable using computers as part of daily production activities.
  • Ability to safely perform required manufacturing tasks and follow all site safety procedures.
