People Architects is partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed consumer products platform building modern health, personal care, and lifestyle brands consumers genuinely trust.
This is a brand-led growth role for a senior marketer who knows how to make products mean something to consumers, while still delivering commercial results across DTC, eCommerce marketplaces, and future retail channels.
We’re not looking for someone to “run the channels. We’re looking for someone who builds brands people choose, talk about, and come back to.
As Marketing Director, you will serve as the senior marketing owner for two established consumer brands, with real authority over brand positioning, storytelling, product go-to-market, and growth strategy.
You’ll shape how each brand shows up in the world (its voice, its community, its creative expression) while ensuring marketing investment translates into sustainable, profitable growth.
This role operates in a high-expectation, PE-backed environment, partnering closely with a Brand President, shared services teams, and product leadership.
What you’ll own -- Own brand voice, messaging, and creative standards across DTC, marketplaces, and retail environments
- Shape product roadmaps, positioning, naming, and launch strategy in partnership with product and operations teams
- Guide performance, lifecycle, and ecommerce teams with a clear brand lens, balancing CAC, LTV, MER, and contribution margin
- Lead brand expression across .com and Amazon today, with responsibility for packaging, storytelling, and GTM readiness for retail expansion
- Build authentic demand through community, creators, partnerships, and owned channels (not just paid acquisition)
- Influence without direct authority by setting clear priorities, standards, and brand expectations
- Present brand performance, insights, and strategic tradeoffs to senior leadership and investors
- Experience building and scaling consumer product brands (CPG, beauty, wellness, personal care, lifestyle)
- A brand-first identity paired with strong commercial fluency
- Proven success leading brands across DTC, ecommerce marketplaces (Amazon), and retail
- Experience launching products and translating brand stories from screen to shelf
- Comfort guiding performance, lifecycle, and ecommerce teams without being channel-defined
- Strong P&L and unit economics intuition (CAC, LTV, margin, contribution)
- Experience in PE-backed, high-growth, or high-expectation environments
- A leadership style rooted in taste, clarity, and consumer empathy
- Real ownership of brands with room to shape, not just maintain
- The challenge (and opportunity) of building love for emerging consumer brands
