Job Summary- Assist with the management of the Martin-Gatton Student Leadership Academy’s social media presence, including Instagram and Linked In.
- Schedule and publish approved content.
- Create and gather content for social media posts, including photos, videos, student spotlights/takeovers, alumni or stakeholder highlights, and event coverage.
- Schedule and publish approved content.
- Attend MGSLA events as needed to capture content and support promotional efforts.
- Assist with development of newsletters, announcements, promotional materials, flyers, graphics and other related outreach efforts.
- Help maintain MGSLA photos, videos, and other digital media assets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Expectations
- Work the agreed-upon number of hours each week.
- Arrive on time and relay scheduling conflicts in advance.
- Demonstrate professionalism in interactions with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and stakeholders.
- Exercise sound judgment with all duties and responsibilities.
- Adherence to university social media guidelines and content approval chain

Preferred Education/Experience- Current undergraduate student; MGCAFE enrollment preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Instagram, Linked In, Canva, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
