Shift
Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with occasional evening and weekend hours. As an exempt-level position, additional hours will be required as needed to perform job duties.
Job Summary
The UK Office of Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement, in partnership with UK Health Care and the College of Medicine, seeks an Associate Director, Philanthropic Partnerships for its Philanthropic Partnerships, Events and Programs team to support fundraising, partner engagement, and campaign execution across a portfolio of corporate, organizational, or community member led philanthropic partners. Reporting to the Director, Philanthropic Partnerships, this donor facing role manages partner relationships, coordinates fundraising campaigns and activations, develops digital and print advertising, and manages social media directly related to philanthropic campaigns.
Regular car travel for partners visits in central and eastern Kentucky is required throughout the year.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands on execution. This position requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to represent UK Health Care and PAE with professionalism and confidentiality. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Multi-tasking, attention to detail, trustworthy, can maintain confidential information, ability to manage very complex schedules; make good decisions based on meeting times and locations. Proficient in Excel with a working knowledge of social media is preferred.
