Cardiovascular, Thoracic Telemetry unit.
**** Unit Overview:
*** 4G,Cardiovascular, Thoracic Telemetry unit.
* 4G is a 20 bed telemetry unit. This unit specializes in post-op CABG patients, post-op cardiac surgery, CHF and moderate risk chest pain patients. The population has multiple co-morbidities and complex care. The patient population is transferred from ICU, ED and PACU.

* Job Description:

*** The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.
* The Registered Nurse (RN) is an exemplar for compassion, acceptance, respect, and empathy honoring nursing as a distinct discipline and supporting an environment focused on healing and wellness.
* As a clinical nurse, this individual spends majority of his/her time (> 50%) coordinating, ensuring and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through: provision of nursing rounds, assessments and treatments; facilitating admission, transfer and discharge activities; provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc.
** Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures

Required:

*** Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
* Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
* Those with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and musthave achieved the degree within 5 years.
* Basic life support
- Applicants will have 30 days from their hired date to provide completion of this certification if they don’t have it already.
* ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of Assignment.
