OverviewAs a BCN Hospice Team member, you will be part of a team providing care and support to patients and their families who no longer receive treatments to cure their terminal illness but instead choose care to improve their comfort and quality of life. Our service allows our team members to focus on one patient at a time providing care where the patient calls home.
While this often is a house or apartment, we also provide care at nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. If a patient’s care needs are too complicated for home care or require a higher level of attention from nurses and other experts, we can provide care at one of our Hospice Care Centers.

Position SummaryThe RN provides skilled professional nursing care to the patient/family/caregiver as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulations as established by the State Board of Registered Nursing, the patient, and the policies of Bluegrass Care Navigators. This position reports to the Executive Director and/or Clinical Nursing Officer.
Qualifications & Responsibilities- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing school.
- Currently licensed as an RN through the State Board of Nursing.
- At least one-year general nursing experience preferred with current hospice, home health, medical, surgical or critical care experience. Experience with providing good pain management, IV skills preferred. New nursing graduates will be considered along with other life experiences and interest in working in hospice field.
