Compensation: $29.29 - $32.55 / hour. $8500 BONUS Available.

How you make a differenceThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) contributes to the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Working under the supervision of RN(s), the LPN provides direction and guidance in patient education and activities aligned with education and competencies.
Key Responsibilities- Under RN supervision, assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in the Health Care Unit and housing units; contribute to individualized treatment planning and consult with RNs and staff as needed.
- Implement treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners; administer medications, including IV therapy (if certified), and perform diagnostic tests according to established protocols.
- Collaborate in controlled substance counts at the start of each shift; follow safety techniques and standard precautions while responding to codes or health emergencies within standard guidelines.
- Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting; communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and other personnel.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions; demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to policies and procedures.
Education
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
Licenses/Certifications
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
