Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience- 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
- Must have at least 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.
- Travel experience is required from any number of months.
- 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
- Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months.
- Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations.
- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
- COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
- Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
- 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program:

Additional DetailsIf you want to take 4-7 days off, you must be willing to make up that time. You must fulfill the full 13 week contract.
Required Skills/ExperienceMust have recent experience at a Level One Trauma Facility.
Required Skills: Work Settings, Telemetry, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Medications, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Orthopedics, Ortho trauma, Plastics, Surgical drains, Professional Topics and Skills, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Additional Skills - Experience with trauma surgical patients’ population and abdominal transplant population in a level 1 trauma center, or in a teaching facility or high-volume facility.
Preferred
Skills:
BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Tracheostomy care/management, Transplant experience - Tele experience, preferred experience with wound care, fracture care, post-surgical skills, traction, patient mobility.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Note: if you receive an offer for this position, you will have 48 hours to accept/decline. Must be willing to fulfill a full 13 week contract.
Candidates should expect to work 2-3 of the 4 Summer Holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, and Labor Day). Any RTO should be provided at time of submission to be considered.
Details- AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW:
This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted eduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 05/25/2026, 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
