Required License/Registration/Certification
Active Kentucky RN license, Temporary Work Permit (TWP), Provisional License or active compact state RN license in good standing and American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers valid for at least 6 months after employment
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 50-100 pounds daily and 25-50 pounds frequently; stand, walk and sit for long periods; exposure to potential hazards and infectious diseases.
Work Schedule
7PM-7:30AM with some weekends, holidays and call may be required. Minimum 96 to 216 hours in a 6-week period depending on Level. Currently hiring for 7P shifts, Level 2 or 4.
The primary responsibilities include providing total, comprehensive, continuous, patient-centered care: assessing, documenting, planning, implementing, teaching, developing, and evaluating a nursing plan of care; delivering direct patient care; ensuring patient satisfaction; training and delegating duties for Nursing Care Technicians; adhering to policies and regulations; collaborating with nursing staff and physicians to improve patient outcomes using the nursing process and a patient-centered plan of care.

- MASlow’s Basic Human Needs and Gordon’s Functional Health Patterns, Swanson’s Caring model knowledge
- Excellent direct patient care and critical thinking skills
- Basic computer/navigation skills; professional communication with patients, families, co-workers and physicians
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and delegation skills
- Motivated, proactive, confident in advocating for patients and families; able to work in team and independently
Supervisory Responsibilities
No
BSN plus at least 18 months of critical care/ICU RN experience preferred
