Responsibilities
The Ridge Behavioral Health System is a 110‑bed psychiatric hospital located in Lexington, KY. We provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. As the only free‑standing psychiatric hospital in Central Kentucky, we are expanding services to meet community needs.
Full Time, Day Shift
- Accurately and timely complete new patient admissions, assessment, orders, treatment plans, property inventory, nutritional screening, progress notes, patient education, and safe medication administration.
- Provide appropriate crisis intervention, anticipating and responding quickly to escalating behaviors, utilizing de‑escalation techniques, and prioritizing safety.
- Use counseling skills to de‑escalate aggression, listen actively, use appropriate tone and volume, provide positive reinforcements, maintain boundaries, and promote a positive peer culture.
