Travel RN - Interventional Radiology​/IR - Interventional Radiology

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a Level 1 facility, requiring a minimum of 2 years of IR experience and Neuro IR procedure experience.

Job Details

• Interventional Radiology unit within a Level 1 hospital setting,

• Patient population spans neonates through geriatric in a procedure setting,

• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM,

• On-call responsibilities are required in addition to scheduled shifts,

Job Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license in good standing, required at time of consideration,

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS),

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing experience required,

• Minimum 1 year of Neuro experience required, or equivalent Neuro experience in a general ICU setting,

• Neuro IR procedure experience required,

• Prior travel nursing experience required,

• Level 1 trauma experience preferred,

• 2 professional supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration,

• Must be comfortable and skilled in caring for patients across the full age spectrum in a procedure environment,

Additional Information

• Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position,

• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler,

• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; RTO requests made after submission will not be approved,

• Clean licensure history required; any licensure hits will result in disqualification,
