Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Stepdown position requiring a minimum of 2 years at a Level I Trauma facility and a KY or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Progressive Care/Stepdown unit in a hospital setting,

• Med/Surg patient population in a stepdown environment,

• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30),

• Every other weekend required,

• Floating required to other universal/progressive care areas within the health system,

• No block scheduling permitted,

Job Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license, in hand at time of consideration,

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS,

• Minimum 2 years of experience at a Level I Trauma facility,

• Experience required in progressive care (PC), acute care (AC), telemetry, and Med/Surg,

• RN license must have no licensure hits,

• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Candidates with a permanent residence within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position,

• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of submission - RTO requests made after submission will not be approved,

• Requests for full weeks off between May and August will not be approved,

• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler,
