Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified CRNA to support anesthesia services at a Level 1 Trauma Center. The position involves providing anesthesia coverage primarily for Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro cases (excluding Cardiac and Neonatal). Responsibilities include intubation, central line insertion, arterial line placement, and other anesthetic procedures as needed. The CRNA will work under the direction of anesthesiologists with a typical ratio of 1:2 (or up to 1:4 for low acuity) and support a team including anesthesia techs and anesthesiologists.
The schedule is full-time, with a 4x10 shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, requiring availability four weeks per month. The candidate must have at least one year of recent experience in a large medical center setting (Level 1 Trauma experience preferred). This position offers a 26-week contract with options to extend. Credentialing timeline is approximately 90 days.
Shift Details:
- 4x10-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 17:30)
- Full-time schedule (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch)
- Must work at least 4 weeks per month
- Support staff includes CRNA, anesthesia tech, and anesthesiologists
- All providers are required to work NORA
- EMR: EPIC preferred
- Compensation includes holiday pay at 1.5x the regular rate for designated holidays, and facility will consider a weekly expense allowance of up to $1500 in lieu of reimbursements
