Full‑time, 40 hrs/week, Monday‑Friday day shift 8:00 AM‑4:30 PM (other hours as needed)
This position is in the Rheumatology division that specializes in adult medicine and the disease process of pulmonary patients. The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease‑specific patient care to a group of patients who have serious acute and/or chronic health events or who are seeking healthcare to maintain their state of wellness. Responsibilities include skilled assessments, care plans and implementation, patient education, clinical evaluation or interventions.
The role requires working with medical professionals under time and efficiency constraints in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient‑centered care focus on quality, safety, and service. A working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is needed for success.
Regularly sitting, standing, walking, with some pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 10 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Education & LicensureEducation:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
License:
Registered Nurse (RN)
Experience:
No prior experience required.
Preferred Education:
BSN
- Basic computer knowledge – MS Windows, Word, Outlook
