BSN + AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF RN EXPERIENCE PREFERRED - Required License: Active Kentucky RN license, Temporary Work Permit (TWP), Provisional License or active compact state RN license in good standing, and American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Provider valid for at least 6 months after employment date.
Shift start times: 7 a.m., 11 a.m., 3 p.m., 7 p.m. Must work three 12‑hour shifts per week, including weekends and holidays. No swing shifts or set schedules.
Job SummaryThe Chandler Emergency Department consists of five areas: triage, chair‑centric and express care, acute care (16 beds), critical care (8 beds), and a Level I Trauma Center (8 beds). The primary responsibilities include providing total, comprehensive, continuous and patient‑centered care: assessing, documenting, planning, implementing, teaching, developing, and evaluating a comprehensive nursing plan of care; delivering direct patient care; ensuring patient satisfaction; training and delegating duties to Nursing Care Technicians;
and adhering to University policies, procedures and regulations. The role supports collaborative efforts among nursing staff and physicians to enhance patient outcomes.

QualificationsNo experience required. Nurse licensing and AHA BSU certification required as above.
