Job SummaryThe LPN works under the Licensed Practical Nursing Scope of Practice as defined by the Kentucky Board of Nursing. Under RN direction, the primary responsibilities include delivering comprehensive, patient‑centered care, performing ongoing assessments, documenting, planning, implementing, teaching, and evaluating patient care plans; providing direct patient care; ensuring patient satisfaction; delegating duties to Nursing Care Technicians; and complying with university policies and regulatory requirements.
The environment promotes collaboration among nursing staff and physicians to enhance communication, patient outcomes, and the family experience.
