Position: Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Lexington, Kentucky

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications
  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ER) nursing experience preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications may be required)
  • Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and documentation skills
  • Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic environments
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive and ongoing patient assessments, integrating cultural sensitivity and developmental considerations
  • Collect objective and subjective data, prioritize problems, and implement customized care plans
  • Deliver direct patient care, administer treatments, and perform patient-centered education
  • Facilitate admissions, transfers, discharges, and coordinate care with the medical team
  • Communicate patient status changes promptly and accurately
  • Oversee and delegate tasks, ensuring quality and compliance from other team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote positive team culture
