Job SummaryThis position is in a large Gastroenterology and Hepatology Division that specializes in adult medicine and the disease process of Gastroenterology – primarily for the IBD patient population.
The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease specific patient care to a group of patients who have serious acute and/or chronic health events or who are seeking healthcare to maintain their state of wellness.
Responsibilities- Skilled assessments
- Development and implementation of care plans
- Patient education
- Clinical evaluation and interventions
- Collaboration with medical professionals in a busy ambulatory care setting
- Adherence to quality, safety and service standards
- Application of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures
