Physician Coverage:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

APP Coverage:

• 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

• Evaluation and treatment of emergency department patients
• Management of acute medical and minor traumatic presentations
• Emergency procedures within provider scope of practice
• Collaboration with Emergency Medicine physicians and nursing teams
• Patient disposition, admissions, transfers, and follow-up coordination as appropriate
• Documentation and order management within facility workflows

• Team-based Emergency Medicine model
• Dedicated physician coverage across all hours of operation
• Defined APP support structure
• Collaborative provider culture
• Ongoing coverage needs with scheduling consistency

Accepted Provider Types:

• Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Additional Requirements:

• Active Kentucky license required
• Emergency Medicine experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing acute care and emergency presentations
• Comfort practicing within a collaborative Emergency Medicine environment
