Shift
:
Monday – Friday, Day Shift; primarily 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hrs/wk); other hours/schedule as needed per departmental needs. Will have some clinical outreach outside of home clinic.
Job Summary:
The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease‑specific patient care for patients with serious acute and/or chronic health events or seeking healthcare to maintain their wellness. The responsibilities include skilled assessments, care plans and care plan implementation, patient education, and clinical evaluation or interventions. This position requires working with medical professionals under time and efficiency constraints in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient‑centered care focus on quality, safety, and service.
A working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is needed to be successful.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
Basic computer knowledge (MS Windows, Word, Outlook, EPIC).
