Lexington, Kentucky CRNA Locum Tenens Opportunity
Support anesthesia services at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Lexington, Kentucky
Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Kentucky-licensed CRNAs for this ongoing locum tenens role. The schedule is four 10-hour daytime shifts weekly, with a flexible start date after August 17, 2026, and a requirement to be available four weeks per month. This assignment offers operational stability, with a focus on trauma and surgical cases in a high-acuity environment.
Opportunity Highlights
- Full-time locum tenens assignment supporting Level 1 Trauma Center anesthesia services
- Schedule:
4x10-hour day shifts (07:00–17:30) with a 30-minute lunch - Supporting orthopedics, trauma, vascular, and neuro cases (no heart or OB)
- Recent experience in large medical centers and trauma required
- Supporting 1–9 patients daily in a hospital setting
- EMR: EPIC preferred
- NORA support required
Schedule & Coverage
- Full-time schedule, 4x10-hour shifts weekly, flexible start after 08/17/2026
- Ongoing coverage of 26 weeks with options to extend
- Must be available four weeks per month
Clinical Scope
- Anesthesia support for orthopedic, trauma, vascular, and neuro cases (excluding cardiac and OB)
- Performing intubation, central line, arterial line, and line placement
- Providing directed anesthesia with staffing ratios typically 1:2 or 1:3-4 anesthesiologists
- No neonatal or OB procedures involved
- Supporting documentation for trauma center experience will be collected
Requirements
- NBCRNA Certified CRNA
- Active KY license or willingness to license (supporting documentation may take up to 90 days)
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in a large medical center, Level 1 trauma experience mandatory
- No new graduates accepted
- Supportive of NORA
