Position Type:
Staff Position, Full-Time. Shift: Must work every Saturday and Sunday, day shifts 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM. Work 24 hours/week, paid 32 hours/week (Weekend Premium position).

Education:
ADN.
Preferred Education:
BSN with at least 1 year of RN experience.
Required License/Registration/Certification:
Active Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) license, Temporary Work Permit (TWP), Provisional License, or active compact state RN license in good standing, plus AHA Basic Life Support certification valid for at least 6 months after employment date.
No experience required.
Physical RequirementsAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull 50–100 pounds daily and 25–50 pounds frequently; stand, walk, and sit for long periods; tolerate exposure to communicable diseases, radiation hazards, and injuries from patients or sharp instruments.
Job SummaryThe primary responsibilities include assessing, documenting, planning, implementing, teaching, developing, and evaluating a comprehensive nursing plan of care; delivering direct patient care; ensuring patient satisfaction; training and delegating duties to Nursing Care Technicians; and adhering to university policies, procedures, federal, state, and local regulations. The role supports collaborative efforts to enhance patient outcomes through the nursing process and patient-centered care.
