Travel CVICU Registered Nurse

Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a CVICU position in Lexington, Kentucky.

• Arterial line management
• Care of ventilated patients
• Central line care/management
• Continuous IV sedation
• ECMO management (preferred)
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Intra‑Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) management
• Pulmonary artery line/Swan‑Ganz monitoring
• Titration of cardiac drips
• Ventilator management
• Patient ratios: 2:1 day, 2:1 night, 2:1 weekends

• Minimum 2 years CVICU experience
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certification required; CCRN preferred
• ECMO experience preferred
• Experience with the EMR system of the host hospital (exact name not specified)
• Ability to float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby
• Compliance with institutional competency exams (general ICU, CVICU, BLS, ACLS, EKG, NIHSS)
