Travel Nurse RN Telemetry
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Lexington, Kentucky.

12/31/2026 - Duration: 52 weeks
- Shift: 12 hours, days
- Hours per week: 36

- Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; detects abnormalities.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments for cardiac care.
- Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac procedures.
- Maintains patient comfort and safety; observes and records significant conditions.
- Responds to life‑saving situations per cardiac emergency protocols.
- Documents nursing history and physical assessment for assigned telemetry patients.
- Initiates patient education on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
- Performs duties within scope of practice and follows hospital safety and infection control protocols.
- One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN.
- Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current ACLS certification.
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Other certifications and licenses that may be required.
- Critical thinking and excellent communication.
- Proficient reading and comprehension of written and verbal instructions.
- PC skills and ability to use department equipment.
- Physical ability to remain stationary and move equipment (50–100 lb).
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse personnel.
- Technical/motor skills for fine manipulation and procedure assistance.
- Mental resilience under pressure and irregular schedules.
- Visual acuity and effective communication.
