Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Level 1 Trauma Center – Lexington, KY

- Shift: 4x10 hours, 07:00 – 17:30 (day shift, includes ½-hour lunch)
- Hours per Week: 40 hours/week
- Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks with potential extension)
- License/Certifications: Must hold NBCRNA Board Certification and KY state license (willing to license)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in a large medical center, trauma experience required (no new grads)
- Hourly Pay: $226.20/hour (firm rate)

- Provide anesthesia care for trauma, ortho, vascular, and neuro cases (no cardiac or OB)
- Support anesthesiologists and anesthesia techs in a team-based setting
- Cover a variety of patient populations, from pediatric to adult (no neonatal)
- Perform intubations, central line placements, arterial lines, and other invasive procedures as needed
- Collaborate closely with physicians and residents, focusing on teaching and support
- Adhere to protocols for anesthesia safety and patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR system
- Work NORA shifts as required
- Valid NBCRNA certification and KY state license (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 1-year recent experience in a Level 1 trauma center setting
- Skills in intubation, line placements, and invasive monitoring
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
This assignment takes place at a leading hospital in Lexington, KY, with a Level 1 trauma designation. You will provide anesthesia coverage for a diverse patient population across multiple surgical services, supporting high-quality trauma and specialty care in a fast-paced environment.
