American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ER experience and a KY or compact RN license.

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• 14-week assignment length
• Candidates will float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
• No trauma level one experience necessary, though preferred

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, ENPC
• Skills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response required
• Experience with continuous IV sedation and care of ventilated patients preferred
• Triage skills preferred
• At least one professional reference from a supervisor within the last 3 years required

• Provide emergency department nursing care including triage, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response
• First-time travelers will only be considered if they have Level 1 trauma ER experience
• Local candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted
• RTO requests must be disclosed at time of consideration; requests for more than 1 week are not typically approved unless special circumstances apply
• RTO submitted after an offer is extended will not be approved
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from all affiliated facilities for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• Candidates with any licensure hits will not be accepted
