Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Locum Tenens Opportunity in Lexington, Kentucky
Support anesthesia services at a Level 1 Trauma Center supporting orthopedics, trauma, vascular, and neuro cases.
Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a CRNA for a locum tenens position supporting a high-acuity hospital environment in Lexington, KY. This role involves providing anesthesia coverage in a large medical center with recent trauma experience, working alongside anesthesia techs, anesthesiologists, and residents under medical direction.

Full-time, 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00–17:30) weekly - Start Date:

Ongoing support including NORA work - EMR:

Anesthesia tech, anesthesiologists, residents (typically 2-1 or 3-1 ratios) - Clinical Support:
Trauma, orthopedic, vascular, neuro cases (excluding cardiac and obstetric)
Clinical Scope
- Support anesthesia delivery in orthopedics, trauma, vascular, and neuro (excluding cardiac)
- Recent experience required in a large hospital trauma setting with Level 1 exposure
- Performs airway management, central line, arterial line, and line placements
- No blocks or neonatal/obstetric procedures required
Practice Environment
- Hospital setting, Level 1 Trauma Center
- EMR:
Epic preferred - Multidisciplinary anesthesia team including anesthesia techs, anesthesiologists, and residents
- Routine trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic cases supported
Requirements
- Active KY state license (open to licensing)
- NBCRNA Board Certified
- Minimum 1 year recent trauma experience in a large hospital environment
- Willing to obtain KY license (credentialing period approximately 90 days)
- Current, unrestricted clinical privileges
