American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an ER position requiring 2 years of ER experience and NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.
Details- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- 14-week assignment length
- Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
- No trauma level one experience required, though preferred
- Candidates may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
- Preferred certifications: CPI, ENPC
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Skills in respiratory care, cardiac monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management required
- Experience with continuous IV sedation and care of ventilated patients preferred
- Triage skills preferred
- Provide emergency care including triage, cardiac monitoring, and management of dysrhythmias
- Only first-time travelers with Level 1 ER experience will be considered
- RTO longer than 1 week is not approved except under special circumstances and must be disclosed at time of consideration
- Local candidates residing within 100 miles are not accepted for this position
- Returning permanent staff must be separated from all affiliated facilities for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
