American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an ER position requiring 2 years of ER experience and NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• 14-week assignment length
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• No trauma level one experience required, though preferred
• Candidates may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, ENPC
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Skills in respiratory care, cardiac monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management required
• Experience with continuous IV sedation and care of ventilated patients preferred
• Triage skills preferred

• Provide emergency care including triage, cardiac monitoring, and management of dysrhythmias
• Only first-time travelers with Level 1 ER experience will be considered
• RTO longer than 1 week is not approved except under special circumstances and must be disclosed at time of consideration
• Local candidates residing within 100 miles are not accepted for this position
• Returning permanent staff must be separated from all affiliated facilities for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
