American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ER experience and a KY or compact RN license.

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• 14-week assignment length
• No Trauma Level I experience necessary, though Level I experience is preferred
• Candidates will float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• CPI and ENPC certifications preferred
• Preferred skills include care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response experience required
• Triage skills preferred

• Provide emergency care including triage, cardiac monitoring, and dysrhythmia management
• Only first-time travelers with Level I ER experience will be considered
• Travel experience preferred but not required
• RTO requests for longer than 1 week are generally not approved unless special circumstances apply
• Local candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Returning permanent staff must be separated from all affiliated facilities for 6 months before returning as a traveler
