What You'll Do:
- Provide anesthesia support for areas including Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro (excluding cardiac and OB)
- Support anesthesia staff and physicians with procedures such as intubation, central line placement, arterial lines, and other line placements
- Work under medical direction, typically 2-1 or 3-1, with attention to teaching residents and support staff
- Collaborate with a team comprising anesthesiologists, anesthesia techs, and residents
- Cover a patient load of 1–9 patients daily across all age groups (no neonatal)
- Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards, including NORA requirements
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation
What You Need:
- Required:
- KY medical license (willing to assist with licensing)
- NBCRNA certification
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in a large medical center, Level 1 trauma environment
- Skills:
intubation, central line, arterial line, line placement (blocks not typically needed) - Preferred:
- Level 1 trauma experience in a hospital setting
