American Traveler is hiring a Progressive Care Unit RN with Level I trauma experience for a night shift assignment requiring KY or compact licensure.

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) caring for Med/Surg patients
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• 14-week assignment length
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to other universal/progressive care areas within UKHC and Good Samaritan

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience at a Level I trauma facility required
• PCU/ACU/Telemetry/Med-Surg experience required
• At least one professional reference required for consideration

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg patients within a Level I trauma teaching hospital setting
• Expected to work 3 of 5 winter holidays
• Local candidates residing within 100 miles are not accepted for this position
• Returning permanent staff must be separated from all UK-affiliated facilities for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration, as requests submitted after an offer will not be approved
