Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Position Details:
Full-Time Position
Primarily Mid Shift (12p-12a) but other shifts if needed

Job Summary:

• Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the Registered Nurse (RN)
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team
• Teach patients and families to understand conditions, medications and self-care skills

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Kentucky
• Current BCLS and ACLS upon hire
• Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patient, guest, physicians, and other employees
