Staff RN Surgical ICU

Ohio Health is seeking a compassionate Staff RN for our Surgical ICU in Riverside for night shift. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care to post-operative and critically ill surgical patients, leveraging advanced monitoring and life-support technologies. • Provide direct bedside care to post-operative and critically ill surgical ICU patients on night shift
• Continuously assess, monitor, and document patient status, vital signs, and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, blood products, and treatments per physician orders and nursing protocols
• Operate and troubleshoot ICU equipment including ventilators, pumps, and invasive monitoring lines
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Promote a safe environment by following infection prevention, medication safety, and fall reduction protocols
• Precept, mentor, and support newer nurses and nursing students as assigned
• Participate in quality improvement, shared governance, and continuing education activities
