American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift LDRP position requiring a KY or compact RN license and BLS certification.

• Work in a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit caring for patients before, during, and after childbirth
• Unit includes 17 private suites, 5 triage/PACU beds, 4 ORs, a 3-bed OB ED, and a specialized antepartum unit for high-risk and postpartum care
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week

• Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Life-Threatening Dysrhythmia
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• No prior nursing experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in accordance with scope of practice and hospital policy
• Coordinate patient care activities including admission, transfer, and discharge
• Provide patient and family-centered education and care coordination
• Collaborate with inter-professional team members and delegate tasks appropriately to other staff
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
• Facilitate timely discharge processes in coordination with Case Management
