American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 3 years of recent OR experience and proficiency across multiple surgical specialties.

• Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Staff work across a variety of OR specialty areas including Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS
• On-call required on a rotating basis: weekday evenings 6:30 PM-7:0 AM and weekends from Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM
• 40-minute response time required for call-back
• Call schedule rotates on a 6-week cycle alternating between weekday call and weekend call

• Active KY state or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room experience required
• Experience across Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS specialties required
• No licensure hits accepted for consideration
• Two supervisor references required from within the last 3 years of employment

• Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted for this position
• Returning permanent staff must be separated from employment for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of consideration; requests made afterward will not be approved
