American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Acute Dialysis and Pheresis position requiring a KY or compact RN license and BLS certification.

• Hospital-based Dialysis and Pheresis unit
• First shift schedule, 4x9s from 6:30a-4p, 36 hours per week
• Evening call required once a week (4p-6:30a)
• Every 5th week requires double call, with Sunday 24-hour call also required that week
• Assignment length of 14 weeks

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact) required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification and Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation required
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• No prior nursing experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred

• Provide direct patient care through nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, and coordination of admission, transfer, and discharge activities
• Deliver patient and family-centered education and individualized treatment planning
• Collaborate with inter-professional care team and delegate tasks appropriately to other team members
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures such as patient satisfaction, falls, and documentation audits
• Facilitate discharge planning in coordination with Case Management

The $2,130 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
