Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and fosters a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are guided by evidence-based research, hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The RN utilizes critical thinking and the nursing process to make clinical decisions and provide patient-centered care. Responsibilities include conducting nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, facilitating admissions, transfers, discharges, patient and family education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning.
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- BLS , Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation
- No prior experience required.
- Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices.
- Previous nursing experience.
- Recent Acute Care experience required.
Required Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
