American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ER experience and a KY or compact license.
Details- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:30
- 14-week assignment length
- May float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
- CPI and ENPC certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
- Trauma Level I experience preferred but not required
- Experience with care of ventilated patients and continuous IV sedation preferred
- Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and dysrhythmia management
- Triage experience preferred
- At least one professional reference required for consideration
- Provide emergency nursing care including triage, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response
- First-time travelers will only be considered if they have Level I ER experience
- Travel experience preferred but not required
- RTO requests longer than 1 week are not approved except under special circumstances, and must be disclosed at time of consideration
- Local candidates residing within 100 miles are not accepted for this position
- Previous staff must be gone from all affiliated facilities for 6 months before returning as a traveler
