Role Overview
Responsible for inspecting and auditing the quality of workmanship of completed circuit boards.
Key Responsibilities- Proficient in determining accept-reject criteria based on TT Electronics Workmanship Standards (IPC-A-610, Current Rev).
- Perform first article inspections on new products from customer prints.
- Complete first article sheets, audit logs, and Certificates of Conformance.
- Perform database entry, print reports, and use internal email system.
- Interface effectively with Quality engineering and supervisors.
- Maintain good housekeeping and workplace organization.
- Organize print reviews, ECRs, customer specifications, etc.
- Accurately complete department paperwork.
- Use basic computer skills for inquiries and information gathering.
- Understand the ECN process, flag product for ECN implementation, and perform ECN first articles once ECN is explained.
- Review and audit most jobs in plant.
- Proficiency in determining accept-reject criteria based on TT Electronics Workmanship Standards (IPC-A-610, Current Rev).
- Experience with first article inspections and Certificates of Conformance.
- Strong computer skills for database entry, print reports, and internal email communication.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Physical Demands:
Sedentary work with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds. Requires ability to reach, stoop, stand, walk, and perform tasks requiring 30-60% of body weight.
Work Environment:
Indoor, with moderate noise and occasional exposure to nitrile gloves.
