Schedule
12-hour rotating shift (Fixed Days or Fixed Nights)
- Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Work:
Monday, Tuesday - Off:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - Work:
Saturday, Sunday
- Off:
Monday, Tuesday - Work:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - Off:
Saturday, Sunday
This schedule then repeats every two weeks.
PURPOSE OF ROLE:- Monitor and maintain quality of all products produced at BENVIC Trinity West Unity in accordance with Quality, Laboratory, Environmental and Safety systems while providing excellent support to Production.
- Must be able to interact with management and Production to accommodate testing and quality needs, while providing excellent customer service.
- Run sample products on Lab extruders and molders.
- Analysis of colors through spectrophotometer.
- Must be able to recognize non-conforming products and reject according to procedure.
- Knowledge of product lines and the customer specifications.
- Required to work proficiently with Windows 7, and Office 2010/2013 including MS Word and Excel.
- Required to work proficiently with both English and Metric systems.
- Required to have knowledge of basic concepts of Algebra and perform proportions, percentages, and calculations.
- Must possess practical and analytical abilities while able to multi-task.
- Maintain/improve laboratory cleanliness and organization.
- Laboratory verification.
- Train, coach, assist and verify Manufacturing personnel to be able to properly perform in-process product inspections.
- Prepare customer certifications and enter SPC data from on-line and off-line testing.
- Support Manufacturing by assisting with re-work and SOC changes as necessary to produce product within specifications.
- Other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have good verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Must have computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to operate a fork truck.
- Must be able to lift 55lbs.
- Must have color vision.
- Have use of fingers and hands for writing and typing.
- Ability to climb straight incline ladders.
- Occasionally reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel, crouch or crawl.
