- Physical Requirements: Standing for long periods of time
- The Plattner lab studies the development and progression of cancer as well as how cancer develops resistance to current therapies.
- Work independently and publish 1st author publications while collaborating with other scientists, postdoctoral fellows and students in the laboratory.
- Contribute to projects examining how pediatric brain cancers develop resistance to targeted therapy (BRAF, MEK inhibitors); a project funded in July, 2026.
- Perform techniques including proliferation, survival, invasion, and apoptosis assays; kinase assays; ELISAs; qPCR; western blotting; cell culture; transfection; gene silencing; lentiviral infection; animal studies using xenograft, syngeneic, GEM, and PDOX models; immune monitoring;
Next Gen sequencing; single-cell RNAseq, etc.

Experience:
