Scientist I level position in a research laboratory focusing on Alzheimer’s disease, related dementias, and related biological studies. The role requires strong expertise in immunoblotting, immunohistochemistry/histology, cell culture, PCR, and the development of antibodies and immunotherapy approaches. Experience in human iPSC technology, targeted genome editing, bioinformatics, and animal work (including breeding) is preferred. The candidate must design experiments, perform quantitative statistical analyses, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate results both orally and in writing while working independently and collaboratively in a laboratory environment.
Skills/ Knowledge / Abilities
• Strong research experience in immunoblotting, immunohistochemistry/histology, cell culture, and PCR.
• Ability to develop antibodies and conduct immunotherapy work.
• Knowledge of experimental design, statistical quantitative analysis, and effective organizational and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency in human iPSC technology, targeted genome editing in vitro, bioinformatics, and animal work (breeding).
Master’s level degree in Biology, Neuroscience, or a related field. Expertise in molecular and cellular biology techniques with significant research experience in Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias is preferred.
