Job Summary
The Barnstable Brown Diabetes and Obesity Center at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking an Assistant, Associate, or Professor in Research. Candidates should have an extramurally funded research program, or early‑career candidates should demonstrate high promise for securing extramural funding. The search targets investigators with basic, translational, or clinical research interests broadly related to diabetes and/or obesity.
Qualifications- PhD, MD, or equivalent degree.
- Successful postgraduate experience.
- For senior applicants, sustained productivity evidenced by publications, grant funding, and mentorship.
- History of securing extramural funding or strong potential to do so.
Applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, brief description of research interests related to diabetes/obesity, copies of 2–3 major publications, and contact information for three references.
